Car
Travel around with car takes some time. The roads are narrow and the traffic slow during peak season. If you are in a hurry, use the motorway A8. The motorway is a Toll Road (Péage) it works with money or bankcard. If you think the motorway is to boring you can use D7, D8 and DN7 they are faster than the coastal road.
Nature
There are a lot of walking paths around the area. Walking paths is called randonée in France. You have three different sorts:
Grande randonée (GR) which is a long route covering hundreds of kilometre, but you can always choose to just walk a part of it.
Grande randonée de pays (GRP) which is a shorter, often circular, to discover a particular region.
Promenade et randonée (PR) is a short, local one, also usually circular.
Other visit-worthy sides close by
Sea Promenade: One close and nice one is the walking path by the sea. Sentier Littoral. If you decide to go, remember to take your bathing gear with you. If you have a snorkel, this is the time to use it. Crystal clear water and a lot of fishes near the rocks.
